The brunch menu changes weekly at this inventive restaurant in The Alley but there are always a few staples; Old School Eggs Benedict with local North Carolina Canadian bacon, home-made hollandaise sauce, English muffins and 2 poached eggs…Basic AF Breakfast which is your classic breakfast of 2 eggs any style, hickory bacon, house breakfast potatoes, and toast. Omelets rotate weekly- this week was Alpine raclette cheese, roasted mushroom and caramelized onion. Most of Whiskey Alley’s brunch items are chef inspired and include unique dishes like handmade pierogi and eggs with house made sauerkraut. Incredible!

A private dining club, a meal at the historic Green Boundary requires a membership (or a friend with a membership) but it’s worth the extra effort. This original Winter Colony, Georgian style home is the very definition of Southern charm. Eating Sunday brunch here feels very special. The Track Kitchen is an institution in Aiken’s Horse District. Drive carefully down the dirt roads. Horses always have the right of way. When you arrive at the Track Kitchen, be prepared for a communal table dining experience. You’ll put in your order at the counter, and it may take a few minutes…be patient! The Track Kitchen experience is the food, the company, the atmosphere- everything ‘Old School’ Aiken. Western omelets, pancakes and (delicious!) bacon, eggs, grits…Carol Carter and family will fix you a good old Southern breakfast. Please make sure to take your plates back to the kitchen when you’re finished. It’s de rigueur.
